WHAT UNIFORM DOES THE ARMY WEAR?

On July 1, 2015, Army Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniforms began replacing Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) uniforms. As of October 1, 2019, all U.S. Army service members and personnel are required to wear the Army OCP uniform.

WHAT DOES THE ARMY OCP UNIFORM LOOK LIKE?

The Army OCP uniform was chosen for its versatility and ability to blend in various environments. It combines black, Bagby green, olive drab, and spice brown in a variegated pattern. The ACU OCP uniform is the branch's utility uniform (i.e., "fatigues") worn during combat duty. The USAR uniform has several variations, including cold weather ECWCS and hot weather uniforms.
